Volunteer

DOCENT – (do’s’nt) noun
    (Latin – docere : to teach)
  • A teacher, lecturer;
  • A museum tour guide and volunteer
  • In some American universities, a teacher and lecturer not on the regular faculty
  • An unpaid teacher
  • A docent could be you!

Volunteers and docents are very important to the success of our museum.  They are the ambassadors representing the thousands of employees who made up Conoco.  Volunteers can work two, four or eight hour shifts, any day of the week.  If you would like to be a part of our living history and share the stories of the Conoco legacy, we invite you to join us.

Contact Carla O'Neill, Museum Director, at 580-767-2143 for more details.
